Horizon4hope exists to support, empower and provide opportunities for individuals especially women and children living with visual and physical disabilities in places and situations where resources are either scarce or non-existent. We do this through resources provided, collaboration with local groups and organizations.
OUR FOCUS
Women
The prevalence of disability is higher among women than men. Supporting women living with physical and visual disabilities is crucial for creating a more inclusive and equitable society. Women are more vulnerable when living with disabilities. They are also less likely to be educated or acquire necessary skills for self-sufficiency and independence. These vulnerable population are easy targets of sexual based violence, neglect and poverty. Let us work together to create a world where every woman has the opportunity to reach their horizons, regardless of their abilities.
Children
Supporting children living with physical and visual disabilities is essential for promoting social justice and investing in the future of society. By providing them with the resources and support they need, we can help break down barriers and promote equality for all.
How We Help
Scholarships
Our passion is to empower children living with disabilities and improve their access to education – through various educational scholarship initiatives
Adopt a School
We support selected schools for individuals living with these disabilities by providing educational, vocational ,personal and living aids.
Adopt a Child
In dire situations, we are seeking individuals, families or organizations that will adopt the responsibilities of the medical, educational/vocational and personal needs of our target population.
Give a Kit
we supply kits for immediate survival eg hygienic , educational and medical needs
Give a Wheel
In our efforts to tackle the difficulties in mobility experienced by persons with physical disabilities, Horizon4hope gives walking aids and wheel chairs to ease the movement of person’s with disabilities.
Trainings & Workshops
Horizon4hope promotes learning and development programs for people living with disabilities, we provide them with skills that will provide stability, development and sustainable growth.
